Health and wellness project begins

Parking adjustments needed during construction

The Concord Community Schools Health and Wellness project will begin Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Concord High School.

During the project, parking in the lots on the south side of the activity center and the south and west side of the pool will be restricted.

The transportation department will utilize one lane on the west side of the pool for bus traffic.

The health and wellness center will involve construction of an approximately 15,000-square-foot addition to the south end of the high school near the existing pool.

It will be both a cardio and weightlifting area to support our physical education as well as our student athletes, as well as remodeling some of the existing athletic areas at the south end of the high school.

Thank you all for your help and patience during this construction project!
