21 Feb Concord musicians named to Indiana All-State Band

Four Concord High School students auditioned for, and achieved, a lucrative position in the Indiana All-State Band.
Isaac Fischer and Alejandro Spradling will perform with the All-State Band. Roland Kinsman and Josh Peacock will perform with the All-State Honor Band.
Students earned this honor by participating in a highly competitive audition held in January.
A total of 165 students from 56 high schools across the state have been selected to participate in the 58th Annual Indiana All-State High School Band Festival, sponsored by the Indiana Bandmasters Association.
Jason Worsbyt, professor of Bassoon and Associate Director at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, will direct the 88-member Indiana All-State Band. Scott Teeple, professor of music at the University of Wisconsin, will direct the 87-member All-State Honor Band.
Members will participate in activities from March 8-10. A free grand finale concert will be presented to the public at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in the Elliott Hall of Music at Purdue University (West Lafayette).
