Concord High School students earn AP Scholar Awards

Forty-five Concord High School students earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP exams during the 2018-2019 school year.

The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP exams, as outlined below.

National AP Scholar Award

The National AP Scholar Award is granted to students who earn an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. 

Concord recipients: Erin Greising and Josh Peacock, class of 2019.

AP Scholar with Distinction Award

The AP Scholar with Distinction Award is granted to students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Concord recipients: Erin Greising, Josh Peacock, Alec Sheimann and Lucas Stout, class of 2019, and Logan Sunday, class of 2020.

AP Scholar with Honor Award

The AP Scholar with Honor Award is granted to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Concord recipients: Kallaghan Findley, Katherine Riffell and Luke Shoemaker, class of 2019, and Genevieve Carreno, Sarah Joy, Rachel Rowe, Stephanie Rowe and Liliana Zeser, class of 2020.

AP Scholar Award

The AP Scholar Award is granted to students who complete three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher.
